Erica Maity is an improviser, producer, voice actor and teacher based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.

Seven Things about Erica

One - Erica has been improvising for more than 12 years in both the US and Europe.

She’s been a cast member at Curious Comedy in Portland, OR, US and Florida Studio Theatre in Sarasota, FL, US and performed in independent shows at over two dozen festivals and theatres internationally.

Two - Erica is the Artistic Director and Head of Production of IMPRO Amsterdam.

Lasting eight days and hosting nearly 1000 attendees, IMPRO Amsterdam is one of the world’s oldest and largest improvisational theatre festivals.

Three - She gives great voice! Erica is a trained voice actor with a portfolio including audiobooks and commercial work.

These include the Showjam (Eindhoven, NL) and Synchronized Swim (FL, USA).

Five - Erica is an experienced improv teacher with a focus on honest, instinctive play.

She has taught on multiple continents and at a variety of festivals, and is currently a teacher in residence at SPARK in Rotterdam, NL.

Six - Erica is all about building community.

She’s been involved in building and developing several artistic communities and has an unwavering focus on creating safety, warmth, and connection.
